Sky was created after my first business partner passed away.  We had a state of the art recording studio in South Haven, MI, of all places, but attracted talent from around the country to record at our studios. After Dimension Records, I founded Sky Productions, Inc, a [then] small recording studio in Kalamazoo.  Our first operation was a two story, 6,000 sq. ft. building that featured three studios, multiple practice rooms, instrument lesson rooms, and storage for our live production equipment.  As the business grew, we took our brand to Phoenix, AZ and Austin, TX, providing more audio, video design and integration, as well as live production. Some of the spin-offs from Sky Productions Inc, are Sky On Hold, Sky TV Networks, Sky Festivals, and I Wanna Tag.

VIEWDIA provides audio, visual design and integration to a variety of clients.  We also provide A/V technology solutions for digital signage, and in-office applications. VIEWDIA is also one of the pioneers of HD webcasting. To this day, VIEWDIA maintains the record for largest single sports tournament webcast, encompassing more than 200 games in a period of five days for USA Water Polo’s Junior Olympics. Because of the nature of our business, we began to help people with their digital marketing needs as well.

Education, both in a traditional sense, and practical sense, are fundamental to improving ourselves, our communities, and the world.  I serve on the board of directors for Communities In Schools of Metropolitan Detroit.  Communities In Schools (CIS) is the nation’s largest dropout prevention organization, and the only organization proven to increase graduation rates and decrease dropout rates. Serving students and families in Metropolitan Detroit since 1995, CIS links existing education and community resources to schools to help students successfully learn, stay in school, and continue on the path to graduation.
